Day 02: Paris -- Evreux

Melvyn and his friend Laurens who just got in from Britain met me for coffee. They're college kids (history majors) from the Netherlands, and they love biking. They were starting their bike trip today too, except they were short one bike and hadn't packed. We ran around Paris bike shopping, packing, and bumming Internet, mixed with historical commentary of the city. This also included frantic biking
across the city through several-lane roads, though a lot of roads don't even have lanes.

Finally, we boarded the train to Evreux. We wore our biking outfits, though we didn't do much riding.

Normandy is known for cider. Laurens is enjoying some to celebrate the beginning of a great trip. He and Melvyn are camping.

Evreux is beautiful.
